Just answer the multiple choice question below. Good luck.
This is your chance to win a piece of motoring history!
We’ve teamed up with respected insurers Footman James to celebrate their 25th Anniversary of looking after classics.
Up for grabs is our 1980 Triumph TR7 fixed head coupe with a standard 2 litre engine, 5 speed gearbox and rear wheel drive.
We reckon it’s worth £2000 as it is, and that’s before we’ve added any goodies to it, which we will be doing!
That’s £2000 on the road, ready to go and in very presentable condition.
Our TR7 was chosen for its solid bodywork, original interior and general all-round tidiness.
It’s finished in Brooklands Green with that dazzling tan plaid (not tartan!) interior.
The TR7 caused a storm on its launch in 1975 with its futuristic styling and break from the conventional TRs it replaced, before going on to become the best-selling TR ever.
To acknowledge its groundbreaking styling, the car will be personally autographed by its designer Harris Mann, making it a true one-off collectors item! A must for all wedge fans.
You can follow the car’s progress over the coming months in the magazine.
It will be on display at Beaulieu Autojumblein September and the NEC Classic Motor Show in November.
Just days after the NEC show, the TR7 will be used by editor Gary in the Hackett Beaujolais Run.
With a trip of potentially 2000 miles, the car will need to be ultra-reliable before one lucky winner drives it away…
